Tragic news struck the entertainment world as Suhani Bhatnagar, known for her portrayal of young Babita Kumari Phogat in Aamir Khan’s blockbuster ‘Dangal’, passed away in Delhi on February 17 at the tender age of 19. The actor’s untimely demise was attributed to a severe side effect from medication, reportedly stemming from a leg fracture she had sustained earlier.
The sorrowful news was confirmed by Aamir Khan’s production house, which shared a heartfelt message on Instagram expressing their profound grief. “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani,” read the poignant note, concluding with, “Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts. May you rest in peace (sic).”
Suhani rose to prominence with her memorable role in the 2016 film ‘Dangal’, where she shared the screen with Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, and Zaira Wasim.
