During a recent visit to Ahmedabad to support his team, Kolkata Knight Riders, Shah Rukh Khan suffered a heatstroke and was quickly rushed to KD Hospital. This unexpected incident has raised considerable concern among his fans regarding his health.
Although Shah Rukh has yet to address the incident directly, his manager, Pooja Dadlani, provided an update via Instagram. In her heartfelt message, she conveyed Shah Rukh’s gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support and prayers, stating, “To all of Mr. Khan’s fans and well-wishers – he is doing well. Thank you for your love, prayers and concern. 🙏🙏🙏.”
The situation unfolded on Wednesday, with Om Prakash Jat, Superintendent of Police (Rural) in Ahmedabad, confirming the news: “Actor Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to KD Hospital after suffering from a heatstroke.”
In this critical moment, Shah Rukh’s close associates, including KKR business partners Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta, rushed to the hospital. His wife, Gauri Khan, also arrived, visibly worried.
In an exclusive interview with News18, Juhi Chawla reassured fans, stating that Shah Rukh is on the mend and is anticipated to return to cheer for KKR in the IPL 2024 finals on Sunday. She shared, “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team as we play the finals.”
