The film combines many Bollywood plotlines, but the numerous twists make it tedious to watch.
The movie is violent and confusing, with weak acting and a ridiculous script.
For the current generation, this movie mainly benefits from this retelling. Although Disney’s bombardment of live-action remakes of its classic repertoire has had mixed outcomes in the past.
It is a cherry, lighthearted movie. It will make you nostalgic for the carefree days of childhood and crave gully cricket.
Movie ending concludes with a more motivational idea and sense of achievement than the original one. Through the process, the two characters grow as individuals and athletes, conveying the value of teamwork on and off the court.
The movie’s transition from the first act to the second is bumpy, and this issue persists. The humour and writing are what make it work.
