Plot:

The narrative follows Suhana Bhatia (Janhvi Kapoor), a young woman from a prominent diplomatic family. Her grandfather’s name is etched in school history books, and she has just been appointed as the youngest Deputy High Commissioner—a position often attributed to nepotism.

After a recent breakup, Suhana is transferred to London, where she crosses paths with Nakul (Gulshan Devaiah), a charismatic Michelin-star chef. However, Nakul isn’t just a talented cook—he’s also a corporate blackmailer.

Suhana soon faces a harrowing choice: protect her father’s career, safeguard her reputation, or defend her country’s secrets. Without revealing too much, it’s safe to say that the film will keep you on the edge of your seat with its twists and turns.

Review:

In an era where Bollywood often struggles to captivate its audience, Sudhanshu Saria delivers a film that will keep you engrossed from start to finish. “Ulajh” marks a powerful start for Janhvi Kapoor, who excels as Suhana Bhatia, an IFS officer determined to prove herself and honor her father’s legacy.

Suhana’s promotion to London is met with skepticism from her colleagues, who dismiss her as a product of nepotism. As she becomes entangled in a high-stakes diplomatic crisis involving India, Pakistan, and the ISI, Suhana must rely on her own wits, as she can’t trust anyone in her office.

Her predicament is further complicated by the need to keep her father in the dark, fearing the impact on his career. The film’s intense plot and unexpected developments will leave you thoroughly impressed.
