The episode begins outside the Panchayat office where Abhishek is seen advising Pradhan Ji and Manju Devi to be honest with everyone and to tell them that the road cannot be constructed in the absence of a Vidhayak as the current Vidhayak Ji is in jail. Just as the meeting of village representatives is about to start, Bhushan enters along with Vinod and Madhav and puts up allegations about Pradhan Ji favoring a certain part of the village.
Bhushan further says that Vidhayak Ji is out of jail and will win the next elections, and the village does not need a Pradhan like Pradhan Ji but a farsighted leader like himself. Amidst the other happenings in the village, there is a subtle romantic banter going on between Rinki and Abhishek, and both of them finally spend some time together on screen, eating samosas in Phakauli Bazar and visiting the local temple. Towards the end of their meeting, which would be called a date in city terms, Abhishek advises Rinki that she can also prepare for an MBA.
Bhushan and his wife Kranti Devi(Sunita Rajwar), along with Vinod and Madhav, go on to meet Vidhayak Ji. Bhushan butters up Vidhayak Ji and convinces him to make a peace agreement with Phulera and Pradhan Ji. Our four horsemen – Pradhan Ji, Vikas, Prahlad, and Abhihek are finally seen together at their usual spot for drinks. Prahlad further makes a bold statement that this time he won’t be contesting in the Panchayat elections as he does not want to win based on the villagers’ sympathy.
The episode paces up the series and adds to the political environment of the village. On one hand, Pradhan Ji allotted homes to his side of the village due to his loyal voters, while on the other hand, Bhushan uses this opportunity to befriend Vidhayak Ji and shine as a Pradhan candidate himself. All the actors continue to do an amazing job, so far so that all of them no longer seem like actors but actual people from the village of Phulera.
The undertones of brewing romance/friendship between Abhishek and Rinki add to the multilayered flavors of this show. We highly anticipate as to what will happen in the coming episodes with Vidhayak Ji, the peace agreement, and finally the Bhushan trio!
