The episode opens with Noah introducing Joanne to his friends at a basketball game. Joanne, who isn’t exactly thrilled about this, shows up anyway, cheering Noah and his team to victory from the sidelines. While the guys immediately warm up to Joanne, the wives—led by Esther—are not so welcoming. The frosty reception leaves Joanne feeling uncomfortable, especially since these women are all friends with Rebecca, Noah’s ex.

Things escalate when the wives take their husbands and leave the bar after the game, heightening Joanne’s anxiety about being accepted by Noah’s inner circle. Determined to win them over, Noah suggests breaking through their defenses. The plan works for most, but Esther remains aloof. Enter Morgan, armed with alcohol. The ladies bond over a drinking game, and by the end of the night, things are looking up—almost. Esther still isn’t fully convinced.

Later, Joanne’s insecurities resurface when she finds an old photo of Noah and Rebecca tucked away in a memory box. Although she puts on a brave face, the discovery leaves her unsettled.

Episode 7 adds some much-needed tension with the introduction of Noah’s inner circle, especially the icy reception from the wives. Joanne’s awkward attempt to fit in highlights the show’s recurring theme—navigating insecurities within relationships. The tension between Joanne and Esther brings a bit of spice, but once again, the conflict wraps up too neatly by the episode’s end.

The subplot with Sasha and Morgan continues to feel like filler, and despite the undercurrent of jealousy surrounding Rebecca, the show avoids diving deeper into the drama. With only three episodes left, the series is still missing the compelling twists needed to elevate it from just another romance drama.
