Yo Yo Honey Singh Launches ‘Money Money’ with Ajay Devgn, Recalls Past Tardiness on ‘Singham Returns’ Set

On April 22, 2025, the vibrant track “Money Money” from the upcoming film Raid 2 was officially launched. The event took place aboard the M2M RoRo ferry, sailing from Mumbai’s coast to Mandwa Jetty near Alibaug, providing a unique backdrop for the song’s debut. Present at the launch were actor Ajay Devgn, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, producers Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Krishan Kumar, and director Raj Kumar Gupta .​

During the event, Yo Yo Honey Singh shared an anecdote from the 2014 film Singham Returns. He recalled arriving four hours late to the set for the song “Aata Majhi Satakli” and fearing a reprimand from Ajay Devgn. To his surprise, Devgn greeted him calmly and spent 10–15 minutes discussing the song, leaving a lasting impression on the rapper .​

This experience influenced Singh’s professionalism in subsequent projects. For the “Money Money” shoot, he ensured punctuality, stating, “Maine apni galatiya sudhari hai kaafi in saare logon se seekh k kyunki agar lambe chalna hai…” (I’ve rectified my mistakes by learning from these people, as one must if they wish to have a long career) .​

Raid 2, directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, and Vaani Kapoor. The film is set to release in theaters on May 1, 2025 .​
