“Welcome To The Jungle” Faces Delay, Avoids Clash with Aamir Khan’s Christmas Release

The filmmakers of “Welcome To The Jungle” created significant buzz with their announcement, but recent rumors suggest the movie might not meet audience expectations on time. Originally scheduled to premiere in December this year, “Welcome To The Jungle” has reportedly been delayed.
According to the Hindustan Times, the cast completed the first filming schedule in Aarey, Maharashtra, in May. This was just the beginning of several extended sessions with the entire cast, indicating a lengthy production process. As a result, the producers might not be able to release the movie on the planned date of December 20.
Interestingly, this delay means “Welcome To The Jungle” will no longer compete with Aamir Khan’s “Sitaare Zameen Par,” which was also set for a Christmas release. The Hindustan Times confirmed that VFX work on “Welcome To The Jungle” won’t commence until primary production wraps up, further pushing back the release date.
The “Welcome” series began with its first movie in 2007, followed by “Welcome Back” in 2015, both directed by Anees Bazmee.
