Vishal Bhardwaj’s Untitled Action-Thriller Begins Filming in Mumbai
Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri Lead Star-Studded Cast; Global Release Set for December 5, 2025
Filming has commenced in Mumbai for Vishal Bhardwaj’s highly anticipated action-thriller, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri in lead roles. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on December 5, 2025.
Sajid Nadiadwala, known for his prolific production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, shared a glimpse from the Muhurat ceremony to mark the beginning of the shoot. The ensemble cast also includes notable actors Nana Patekar and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the collaboration, Nadiadwala took to social media platform X, stating, “I’m thrilled to join forces with the genius director, my dear friend @VishalBhardwaj, and the phenomenal powerhouse @shahidkapoor! Delighted to welcome the incredibly gifted @tripti_dimri23 to the #NGEFamily!”
Both Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj shared a sneak peek from the Mahurat shoot, captioning it, “A sneak-peek into a spectacular journey that begins today! Stay tuned as the magic unfolds. Straight from the Mahurat shoot! #SajidNadiadwala Presents. A @vishalrbhardwaj Film. Film releasing on 5th December 2025.”
On Instagram, Shahid Kapoor further expressed his excitement, writing, “Every story has its time, and this one begins now. Shooting starts on 6th January 2025, and we’ll see you in theatres on 5th December 2025.”
This untitled action-thriller is part of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment’s ambitious 2025 lineup, which also includes films like “Sikandar,” “Housefull 5,” and “Baaghi 4.”
