Vijay’s GOAT Set for September 5 Release: AI to Revive Late Singer Bhavatharini’s Voice
Artificial Intelligence Pays Tribute to Ilaiyaraaja’s Daughter in Venkat Prabhu’s Latest Film

Vijay is currently filming “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time), directed by Venkat Prabhu, with a planned release on September 5. In a unique tribute, the filmmakers are using artificial intelligence to feature the voice of late singer Bhavatharini, daughter of music legend Ilaiyaraaja, for a song in the movie. This innovative approach to honor Bhavatharini was recently revealed by an industry tracker on social media, although an official statement from the directors is still pending.
The film’s ensemble cast includes Vijay, Ajmal, Jayaram, Laila, Sneha, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Parvathi Nair, Vaibhav Premji, and VTV Ganesh. Notably, Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is composing the music, is both Bhavatharini’s brother and Venkat Prabhu’s cousin. Vijay will be playing dual roles, and the VFX work for the film has already been completed. The cast is currently filming a pivotal scene, marking the final stages of production.
In anticipation of the film’s release, a teaser or the second single is scheduled to be launched on June 22, coinciding with Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film’s primary cast also features Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ajmal, Mohan, Yogi Babu, and Premgi. Venkat Raajen is handling the editing, while Siddhartha Nuni is responsible for the cinematography.
