On July 14, Vijay Sethupathi’s much-awaited film “Maharaja” will hit theaters, showcasing the emotionally charged single “Thaaye Thaaye.” Composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, with lyrics by Vairamuthu and sung by Stina, this track delves into the poignant relationship between a father and daughter.
Tamil cinema star Vijay Sethupathi leads “Maharaja,” and the build-up to its release has been marked by strategic updates from the filmmakers. The debut single “Thaaye Thaaye” was launched at Dubai’s Silicon Central Mall during a promotional event featuring Sethupathi and the film’s team. Earlier, the film’s poster and trailer were unveiled at the iconic Burj Khalifa, underscoring the grand celebration of Sethupathi’s 50th film.
In “Maharaja,” directed by Nithilan Saminathan, Vijay Sethupathi portrays a ruthless character, with the trailer hinting at a gripping performance from the “Makka Selvan” star. The film features a stellar cast, including Anurag Kashyap, Natty, Bharathiraja, Abhirami, Mamta Mohandas, Singampuli, Aruldoss, and Munishkanth.
