Vijay Sethupathi Praises Shah Rukh Khan’s Versatility and Storytelling Prowess
“His Energy is Unmatched”: Vijay Sethupathi Reflects on Working with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan

In a recent series of interviews, Vijay Sethupathi shared his admiration for his Jawan co-star, Shah Rukh Khan. Speaking to Cinema Vikatan, Vijay described Shah Rukh as “a great storyteller” with a “versatile mind.” This collaboration follows Vijay’s Hindi debut in the Prime Video series Farzi last year.
In a Tamil interview with ETimes, Vijay expressed his surprise and admiration for Shah Rukh’s voice, calling him “more attractive as a person than a star.” He elaborated on this sentiment in a conversation with Hindustan Times, where he recounted Shah Rukh’s compliments and their on-set camaraderie during Jawan’s filming.

Vijay highlighted Shah Rukh’s unwavering energy, recounting an instance where Shah Rukh continued to work tirelessly despite being unwell. “I learn something from everyone,” Vijay noted. “What I learned from Shah Rukh Khan is that his energy levels never go down. One day, during the shoot, he was unwell but you just can’t figure it out unless he tells you. That’s an amazing quality he has.”
The actor also expressed his happiness over the recognition he received from industry legends like Shah Rukh, Rajinikanth, and Vijay. “He shared a lot of things about me which I felt very happy about,” Vijay said. “Even what Rajinikanth and Vijay have said about me makes me really happy. I felt happy that they noticed so many aspects about me and my performances.”
