Vicky Kaushal Unveils Thrilling Sneak Peek of Epic Sam Bahadur Film, Chronicles the Heroic Saga of India’s First Field Marshal

In an eagerly anticipated cinematic venture directed by Meghna Gulzar, Vicky Kaushal is set to grace the screen in “Sam Bahadur,” a film inspired by the life of Sam Manekshaw, India’s distinguished Field Marshal. Recently, the producers released the much-awaited trailer, providing a glimpse into the riveting narrative.
Sam Manekshaw, a legendary figure who dedicated over four decades to the army, played a pivotal role in five wars. Notably, his military prowess in the 1971 Indo-Pak War led to the establishment of Bangladesh, and he became the first Indian Army general to be appointed as a Field Marshal.
Vicky Kaushal, who essays the challenging role of Sam Bahadur, offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at the film through captivating footage. In an Instagram post, he expressed, “The toughest role I have played… The most enriching and fulfilling journey I have been on as an Actor! Sharing with you a snippet of all that went behind the scenes to make it happen. Truly, a team full of BAHADURs!!!”
During the trailer premiere event in Delhi, Vicky was playfully questioned about whether his wife, Katrina Kaif, played a role in preparing him for the challenging role. With a smile, he shared, “I have a secret magic recipe. I would call her for a pep talk before every shot. No, this would not happen.”
Sharing the trailer on his Instagram account, Vicky Kaushal wrote, “Zindagi unki, itihaas hamara. ‘Ek soldier apne wardi ki izzat ke liye apne jaan bhi de sakta hai’ (Their life, our history). It then presents how Sam Bahadur took the lead and helped India attain victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war.” The film promises to be a cinematic masterpiece, highlighting the bravery and sacrifice of a true military legend.
