The Instagram post showcased Vicky Kaushal seated in front of a dressing mirror adorned with images of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, the inspiration behind “Sam Bahadur.” Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, the inaugural Field Marshal of India, dedicated over four decades to the army and participated in five wars. Notably, he led India to victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, resulting in the creation of Bangladesh and earning him the prestigious title of Field Marshal, the first in the Indian Army.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film also featured pivotal roles played by Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. “Sam Bahadur” hit theaters on December 1, inviting audiences to immerse themselves in the extraordinary life and legacy of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
