‘The Boys’ Prequel ‘Vought Rising’ Expands Cast with Elizabeth Posey and Will Hochman
The upcoming 1950s-set series delves into Vought International’s origins, featuring the early exploits of Soldier Boy and Stormfront.

Amazon and Sony Television’s forthcoming prequel to ‘The Boys,’ titled ‘Vought Rising,’ has bolstered its ensemble by casting Elizabeth Posey (‘Euphoria,’ ‘Heels’) and Will Hochman (‘Blue Bloods’) in leading roles, both currently undisclosed. They join Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, who are set to reprise their original roles as Soldier Boy and Stormfront, respectively.
‘Vought Rising’ is set in the 1950s and explores the origins of Vought International. The series will delve into the early exploits of Soldier Boy and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought.

The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film.
Elizabeth Posey gained recognition for her role as Becky in HBO’s ‘Euphoria’ and as Tricia in Starz’s ‘Heels.’ Will Hochman is known for his portrayal of Joe Hill in CBS’s ‘Blue Bloods’ and has appeared in films such as ‘Let Him Go’ and ‘The Greatest Beer Run Ever.’
‘Vought Rising’ is the latest expansion in ‘The Boys’ franchise, which includes the animated series ‘The Boys Presents: Diabolical,’ the college-set spinoff ‘Gen V,’ and the upcoming ‘The Boys: Mexico,’ executive produced by Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal.
While a premiere date for ‘Vought Rising’ has yet to be announced, production is expected to commence later this year.
