‘The Bear’ renewed for Season 4 by FX

The American comedy-drama television series ‘The Bear,’ which is presently in production for its third season, has covertly been renewed for a fourth season.
Even though FX has not made an official announcement for the renewal of the fourth season, sources have confirmed the news to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. The outlets also reported that season three and season four will be filmed back-to-back.
The Emmy-winning dark comedy was renewed for its third season in November 2023 and is expected to premiere in June 2024 on Hulu. The plot of the series revolves around Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, a young chef who inherited his family’s Italian beef sandwich shop following his older brother’s suicide. He returns to Chicago to manage it, putting behind him his life of working in Michelin star restaurants. He has to deal with his brother’s unpaid debts, a deteriorating kitchen, and an unruly crew, all while coping with his own grief and family tragedy.
The main cast of the series includes Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, and Matty Matheson.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, local outlets in Chicago, where the series films, first reported the secret renewal and production plans. The fourth season is anticipated to air in 2025.
