SRK’s Pathan not to change its name

According to reports from yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie “Pathaan” producers were thinking of changing the title due to online trolls and unfavourable reviews. The makers were not under any such pressure, according to a senior industry insider who spoke with ETimes and refuted these accusations.

According to the source, ETimes “Rumors regarding Pathan’s title change are not true. The creators are so sure of the title, in fact, that they gave John’s first look the same name.” The source argued that the film’s promotion would have changed if the producers were in fact feeling the pressure of trolls and considered changing the title, but this is not the case. Siddharth Anand is directing the movie “Pathaan,” which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in leading roles.
