Nikita Roy and the Book of Darkness is a presentation of Nikita Pai Films Ltd., and is co-produced by Prakash Nand Bijlani, Shakti Bhatnagar, Mehnaaz Shaikh, Prem Raj Joshi, and Anand Mehta. The script and screenplay come from Pavan Kirpalani, known for his gripping storytelling in the thriller genre (Phobia, Bhoot Police).
Producers Viicky and Nickky Bhagnani shared their enthusiasm, saying, “This film is very close to our hearts. It dares to explore a space mainstream cinema often avoids. With a powerful cast, a gripping narrative, and Kussh’s distinctive vision, we’re thrilled to bring ‘Nikita Roy’ to theaters.”
Sonakshi Sinha wrapped filming in September 2024, with the majority of production taking place across the UK, including London. Initially scheduled for a 40-day shoot, the crew impressively wrapped principal photography in just 35 days, later filming a short two-day sequence in Mumbai.
