Actor to Portray a Character with Mental Illness in Upcoming Action Thriller

Sivakarthikeyan, a prominent actor in Tamil cinema, is set to challenge himself with a groundbreaking role in an upcoming film directed by AR Murugadoss, tentatively titled “SK 23.” According to recent reports from Starda India, Sivakarthikeyan will take on a character grappling with mental illness and trauma as he faces his adversaries.

In “SK 23,” Sivakarthikeyan will adopt several distinct looks, with a recent on-set photo revealing him sporting a full beard. The actor and director duo are crafting an intriguing project that has significantly heightened audience expectations with frequent updates.

Rukmini Vasanth is set to star as the female lead in this action-packed entertainer. Biju Menon, returning to Tamil cinema after a 14-year break, will play a pivotal role, reuniting with AR Murugadoss after their last collaboration in “Thuppakki” (2012). Vidyut Jammwal has been cast as the antagonist. The film’s music is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with Sudeep Elamon handling cinematography and Sreekar Prasad in charge of editing.

In addition to “SK 23,” Sivakarthikeyan will appear in “Amaran,” directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, set to release in September. This heartfelt drama features Sai Pallavi in the lead role, with Sivakarthikeyan playing an army officer. The first single or teaser for “Amaran” is expected to be released soon, with the film’s release date likely to follow shortly after.
