Sienna Miller Joins John Krasinski in New ‘Jack Ryan’ Film at Amazon MGM Studios

The Action-Thriller Marks the Next Chapter of the Hit Series With Returning Cast and Fresh Twists

Sienna Miller is teaming up with John Krasinski for the upcoming Jack Ryan feature film, currently in development at Amazon MGM Studios. This new installment is being billed as the next evolution of the popular action-adventure series, which enjoyed a successful four-season run on Prime Video, ranking among the platform’s top three global hits.

Krasinski, reprising his role as the iconic CIA analyst, is also on board as a producer alongside Allyson Seeger under their Sunday Night production banner. Miller will play an MI6 agent, the British equivalent to Krasinski’s Jack Ryan, adding an exciting dynamic to the film’s story.

Familiar faces from the series, including Wendell Pierce (The Wire) and Michael Kelly (House of Cards), are set to return. Andrew Bernstein, who directed and executive produced the show’s second season, will direct the feature, while Aaron Rabin, a key writer on the series’ fourth season, has penned the script.

Though plot details remain under wraps, the film promises to bring fresh intrigue and high-stakes action, with the story grounded in Tom Clancy’s “Ryanverse” but adapted for modern times. The movie is being produced in association with Paramount Pictures and Skydance, with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, John Kelly, and Carlton Cuse serving as executive producers.

Miller’s recent credits include Kevin Costner’s two-part Western epic Horizon: An American Saga, Netflix’s drama series Anatomy of a Scandal, and a cameo in the final season of Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.

With its star-studded cast and seasoned creative team, this Jack Ryan film is poised to deliver an electrifying addition to the franchise. Fans can expect gripping espionage, intense action, and the return of their favorite characters, along with a fresh face in Miller to shake things up.
