Shreyas Talpade Recovers from Heart Attack, Set to be Discharged Following Angioplasty

In the aftermath of filming his upcoming movie, “Welcome To The Jungle,” actor Shreyas Talpade experienced a heart attack in Mumbai last Thursday, necessitating an immediate angioplasty. Filmmaker Soham Shah, a close friend of Shreyas, assured in an interview with The Times of India that the actor is “recovering well.” According to Soham, Shreyas is expected to be released from Bellevue Hospital in Mumbai either on Sunday night or Monday morning, where he has been under medical care since the incident.

Soham, known for directing Hindi films such as the 2005 movie “Kaal,” featuring Ajay Devgn, shared his recent visit to Shreyas before and after hospitalization. Expressing relief, he noted, “The night before he was admitted to the hospital, I paid him a visit, and I was back today (Friday). Shreyas being himself again, grinning and chatting with me, was a huge comfort.”

Further elaborating on the situation, Soham highlighted the crucial role played by Deepti Shreyas Talpade, Shreyas’ wife, in ensuring prompt medical attention after the heart attack. Soham expressed gratitude, stating, “He was filled with gratitude and blessings that he was timely taken care of. Thanks to his wife Deepti, who had amazing presence of mind and took the right decisions at the right time. They both have felt divine intervention that he was revived back, as it was a very challenging time to reach the hospital battling the traffic. Thank God he’s recovering well, and everyone’s best wishes are with him.”
