Shilpa Shetty Makes a Stunning Comeback in ‘Sukhee’ as Husband Raj Kundra Inspires Her to Shine

Shilpa Shetty’s upcoming film, “Sukhee,” will mark her return to the big screen.
A glimpse into the life of Sukhee, a devoted housewife (played by Shilpa), whose priorities are her family, is provided in the trailer. But when she accepts an invitation to her school’s reunion in Delhi, where she will embark on an exhilarating trip, her life quickly takes an unexpected turn. Key roles in the film are also played by Amit Sadh, Chaitanya Chaudhary, Kiran Kumar, and Kusha Kapila in addition to the actress.

The teaser for Sukhee gives viewers a glimpse into the life of Shetty’s committed homemaker who plays the film’s title role. When Sukhee accepts an invitation to her high school reunion and decides to travel to Delhi, the plot develops. When Sukhee sets out on an adventure in the capital city, the movie takes an exciting turn.

Shilpa stated at the film’s trailer debut on Wednesday, “Something had happened because of which I had decided that I won’t be able to do the film. I wasn’t in that state of mind. So I told them that perhaps right now, I’m not in that mind space so they should cast someone else.
She further added how husband Raj Kundra forced her to reconsider her opinion, and said, “Raj read the script when I wasn’t home. I had told him that it’s a beautiful film, but I’m not ready for it. When I returned, he told me, ‘Are you crazy? You have to do this film! He convinced me to take up the film. He forced me to do it and told me there’s a ‘Sukhee’ in all of us. If a man can think that way for a woman-oriented film…”
