Shahid Kapoor’s Son Is A big Virat Kohli Fan, Reveals Actor

Recently, actor Shahid Kapoor spoke candidly about his son Zain Kapoor’s passion for cricket. The actor named Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav as his son’s two favorite players during an interview. The youngest of Shahid Kapoor’s children is Zain.

At Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium last month, Shahid and Zain were spotted cheering on their favorite cricket team. The father-and-son team saw the Mumbai Indians play against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, headed by Virat Kohli, in the Indian Premier League (IPL). On social media, images of Shahid and Zain had appeared.

Shahid discussed his children in an interview with Zoom TV, “Right now my kids are fans of cricketers okay, so it’s Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli. They are fanboying, especially Zain is fanboying them right now and I am loving it because it’s normal like even when I was a kid, I was a huge fan of cricket and of cricket players, so I’m like haan iske andar mera khoon hai, isse bhi cricket accha lag raha hai (We have it in our blood, we both love cricket). I’m loving it.”

Shahid loves cricket a lot. He coincidentally portrayed a cricket player in the 2022 Hindi version of Jersey. In the movie, in which Mrunal Thakur and his father, actor Pankaj Kapur, also starred, Mrunal played his cricket coach.

Shahid’s most recent appearance was in the OTT debut of Raj and DK’s web series Farzi. He portrayed an artist who creates forgeries of banknotes in the television series. His most recent movie, Jersey, did poorly at the box office.
