Initially rumored to make its digital debut on JioCinema, “Dunki” surprised fans by landing on another popular OTT platform for streaming.
Netflix India stirred excitement among fans by unveiling a vibrant poster of “Dunki” on Instagram this Wednesday, signaling its over-the-top debut on the streaming service. The caption accompanying the post read, “Pack your bags! After a global Dunki journey, @iamsrk is coming home… Dunki, now streaming on Netflix!” To add to the Valentine’s Day charm, “Dunki” made its OTT debut on Netflix on February 14, 2024.

Following the successes of “Pathaan” and “Jawan” in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan’s final cinematic venture of the year was “Dunki.” In a recent interview with ANI, director Rajkumar Hirani shed light on his collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan, expressing his satisfaction with the partnership. “You always aspire to craft a film with a profound and engaging narrative. Shah Rukh resonated with the story right from the outset. After his stint in action films, he yearned to explore something distinct, and his enthusiasm towards ‘Dunki’ reflected that. Personally, it was a long-awaited collaboration for me, and finally, the stars aligned, and we had a delightful experience working together,” Hirani remarked, reminiscing about their collaboration.
