Shah Rukh Khan Continues Sacred Tradition with Third Vaishno Devi Visit Ahead of Dunki’s Release

Renowned Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has once again adhered to his sacred tradition by making his third pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi this year. The actor, known for his pre-release visits to the revered temple, seems to find the practice effective. A video shared by a news agency captures Shah Rukh Khan strolling down the cobblestone path of the temple in Jammu, accompanied by his entourage of bodyguards and managers, including Pooja Dadlani.

This ritualistic visit to Vaishno Devi has coincided with the success of Shah Rukh Khan’s recent films. Before the release of “Pathaan,” which marked his return to the big screen after a four-year hiatus, the actor visited Vaishno Devi, and the film went on to earn over ₹1000 crore globally. His second visit in August preceded the release of “Jawan,” which became the largest hit of the year, raking in ₹1100 crore globally.

Now, as Shah Rukh Khan gears up for the release of Rajkumar Hirani’s film “Dunki,” anticipation is high for yet another blockbuster. Scheduled for release on December 21, “Dunki” will face competition from Prabhas’ “Salaar.” Notably, Shah Rukh Khan has chosen to forego the customary promotional interviews or visits for his film this year.

“Dunki,” featuring an ensemble cast including Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, promises vibrant performances. Produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan, the film is a collaboration between JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films. With the actor’s reverence for tradition and a history of successful ventures following his visits to Vaishno Devi, all eyes are on the upcoming release and its potential to join the billion-rupee club.
