Scrubs Reboot Still on the Table, Says Zach Braff

Actor Expresses Hope for Reunion, Reveals Possible Hurdle

Zach Braff, star of the beloved medical sitcom Scrubs, has reignited hopes for a series reboot, revealing that a reunion is still very much a possibility.

In a recent interview, Braff discussed the factors that might be preventing a *Scrubs* revival. He explained that the show’s ownership by Disney and its creator Bill Lawrence’s affiliation with Warner Bros. could be a stumbling block. However, he remains optimistic about a resolution and believes that fans will ultimately get their wish.

Braff expressed his enthusiasm for reprising his role as Dr. John Michael “JD” Dorian and emphasized his strong bond with his former co-stars. He shared that he and Sarah Chalke, who played Elliot Reid, recently went on vacation together and plans to spend time with creator Bill Lawrence the following weekend.

The show’s creator, Bill Lawrence, has also expressed interest in continuing the *Scrubs* story, but as a full-fledged series rather than a movie. He explained that he would enjoy exploring the current lives of the characters and introducing new perspectives from a younger generation of doctors.

Scrubs originally aired on NBC from 2001 to 2008 before being picked up by ABC for two additional seasons. The series concluded its nine-season run in 2010. While fans have eagerly awaited a revival, Braff’s recent comments offer renewed hope for a return to the beloved hospital setting.
