Sayanora Philip, Bhavana Menon, Ramya Nambessan, Shilpa Bala, and Mrudula Murali shared a video of themselves dancing to the song “Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jaave” in September 2021 on their individual social media accounts. As some of the women were sporting shorts, some online users weren’t happy about it. Sayanora Philip in particular received numerous offensive comments because she is a mother and doesn’t adhere to the accepted standards of beauty. Sayanora was one of the first to talk to ETimes about the situation and said that she loves her legs, which sped up the process.
