Sanya Malhotra Praises Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan’s Passion for Acting; Shares Long List of Dream Co-stars
Sanya Malhotra is currently savoring the taste of success with her latest film, “Jawan,” where she shares the silver screen with the legendary Shah Rukh Khan and the talented Nayanthara. Directed by the renowned Atlee, this cinematic venture hit theaters on September 7th this year and has been an outstanding performer at the box office. Sanya, who made her remarkable Bollywood debut alongside Aamir Khan in “Dangal,” where she portrayed the role of his younger daughter Babita, recently opened up about the striking similarities she’s noticed between two of India’s biggest superstars, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, as she considers herself fortunate to have worked with both of them.
During a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Sanya Malhotra was asked to pinpoint the commonalities between her “Jawan” co-star, Shah Rukh Khan, and her “Dangal” co-star, Aamir Khan. In response, the actress highlighted their unwavering “passion” for their craft. She elaborated, saying, “Their passion for what they are doing. I think they love acting, they love filmmaking, and they both have been entertaining us for so long. I mean, how do they consistently create such remarkable films? That has been a constant factor.”
While enjoying the spotlight, Sanya also shared her aspirations for future collaborations during an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla. When asked about the actors she dreams of working with, the actress revealed a “long” list of esteemed colleagues she looks forward to sharing the screen with. She expressed, “There are so many. The list is long. I want to work with Tabu, and I hope to share the screen with Shahid Kapoor in a dance film. I want to collaborate with Vicky Kaushal once more because I believe he is a brilliant actor, and I yearn for the opportunity to act alongside him again. Rajkummar Rao is another name on my list; we’ve already worked together in a film, but I wish, hope, and pray for the chance to collaborate with Raj once more because we all know how exceptionally talented he is. Who else, who else, who else? The list is extensive.”
