Salman Khan’s Cameo as Chulbul Pandey Dropped from Singham Again Amid Safety Concerns

Security threats and Baba Siddique’s death force Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty to make last-minute changes, omitting Salman’s role from the upcoming action blockbuster.

Ajay Devgn’s highly anticipated Singham Again is making waves, but reports confirm that Salman Khan will no longer be part of the film. Initially scheduled for a special cameo as his iconic character Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg series, Salman’s appearance has been scrapped due to serious security concerns.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the decision stems from repeated death threats against the superstar, raising fears for his safety. These threats have disrupted not only Salman’s professional commitments but also impacted his plans to feature briefly in Rohit Shetty’s action-packed universe.

Adding to the complexity, Baba Siddique’s sudden demise further influenced the decision. A one-day shoot, planned to feature Salman Khan, was scheduled at Golden Tobacco in Mumbai. However, following Siddique’s death, both Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty held internal discussions and decided it would be inappropriate to proceed with Salman’s cameo under such circumstances.

“With everything happening, it felt insensitive to ask Salman to shoot. Plus, they were on a tight schedule to submit the film to the censors by October 18. In the end, they had to make the difficult choice to respect Salman’s privacy and move forward without his cameo,” shared an insider with Bollywood Hungama.

There is still a possibility that the film’s post-credit scene may include a backshot hinting at Chulbul Pandey, but nothing has been finalized. Salman, known for his close friendship with Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, had previously agreed to the cameo. However, with time running out and the emotional impact of recent events, the team opted to proceed without it.

Fans will now have to wait and see if future installments of the Singham universe offer a crossover with Salman Khan’s much-loved Dabangg character.
