Salman Khan and Arijit Singh Reconcile: A Musical Reunion in ‘Tiger 3’ After Seven-Year Feud

In a surprising turn of events, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and renowned playback singer Arijit Singh have buried the hatchet and rekindled their professional relationship. Arijit Singh, the melodious voice behind numerous hit songs, has lent his vocals to a song in Salman Khan’s upcoming film “Tiger 3,” marking a harmonious resolution to their differences that had persisted for seven years. The discord between the two had initially flared up during the filming of “Sultan” back in 2014.

On Thursday, Salman Khan took to Instagram to offer fans a sneak peek at the opening track of “Tiger 3” titled “Leke Prabhu Ka Naam.” The preview still features Salman’s co-star, Katrina Kaif, donning a striking red crop top, white denim shorts, and red and white fur sleeves, elegantly accessorized with white earrings. Salman Khan himself exudes his trademark style with sunglasses and a black shirt, while the backdrop showcases a lively ensemble of background dancers.

Salman Khan captioned the post, “Pehle gaane ki pehli jhalak (The first glimpse of the first song) #LekePrabhuKaNaam! Oh haan, yeh hai Arijit Singh ka pehla gaana mere liye (Oh yes, this is Arijit Singh’s first song for me). Song out on 23rd Oct.”

According to Salman, the first track from “Tiger 3” is set to make its debut on Monday, October 23, just one week after the release of the film’s trailer.

Enthusiastic fans of both Salman Khan and Arijit Singh flooded the comments section on the Instagram post, expressing their jubilation at this long-awaited musical collaboration. One fan exclaimed, “Finally! 🔥 The collab we were waiting for 👏.” Another added, “Salman khan x Arijit singh 😍.”

The acrimonious history between Salman Khan and Arijit Singh dates back to 2014 when Arijit had infamously appeared on stage to receive an award wearing slippers. Co-hosting the event, Salman Khan took a light-hearted jab at Arijit by asking, “Tu hai winner? (Are you the winner?)” Arijit’s response, “Sula diya aap sab ne (You folks bored me to sleep),” resulted in a public spat. Consequently, Arijit was omitted from several Salman Khan productions, including “Kick,” “Bajrangi Bhaijaan,” and “Sultan.”
