Rupert Grint Wanted A Pause From Acting To Reflect On Life

According to actor Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series for more than ten years, he wanted a pause “to reflect on things.”
The British actor, who played Ron from the age of 11 to 22, spoke at length about the eight-film franchise that launched his or her career and is based on fantasy novelist J.K. Rowling’s book series.

We became one in the Harry Potter movies. By the time it was through, I was acting as myself. The boundaries were hazy,” Grint said to Bustle, an online publication for American women.

“Potter was so full on — (filming) all year, then we’d promote the rest of the time. It was quite suffocating. I wanted a break, to reflect on everything… It was an out-of-body experience for a while, but I think we finished at the right time. If we continued, it could’ve gone downhill,” he added.
