Rihanna breaks Spotify record to become First Female Singer with 10 Tracks over Billion Streams

Fans go gaga as Bad Gal Riri marks to be the first female singer ever to have 10 songs exceeding the mark of one billion streams, breaking and making a new Spotify record.

With her last album released ‘Anti’ in 2016, 35-year-old Rihanna is still leading records and made a celebratory post on Instagram with the caption,

“Bad Gal billi … wit no new album… lemme talk my shit”, along with a winking emoji with its tongue out and an emoji of the flag of her home country, Barbados.

The tremendous accomplishment comes after the founder and owner of Fenty Beauty delivered an outstanding performance at the SuperBowl LVII halftime, announcing her second pregnancy with ASAP Rocky by revealing her baby bump.

In British Vogue’s March issue, Rihanna spoke about the pressure she feels to deliver new music after her phenomenally successful album, ‘Anti’.

She told ‘People’ magazine,

“There’s this pressure that I put on myself. That if it’s not better than that then it is not even worth it. It is toxic. So I realized that if I keep waiting until this feels right and perfect and better, maybe it’s going to keep taking forever and maybe it’ll never come out and no, I’m not down to that.”

The ‘Rihanna Navy’ celebrates her historical achievement by flooding social media and with comments on her celebratory post. However, you can see how they are eager and desperately waiting for a new musical release by the queen.
