Wilson’s remarks came amidst the buzz surrounding her memoir, Rebel Rising, in which she divulges unsettling details about her experience working with Baron Cohen on The Brothers Grimsby.
During the show, hosted by Andy Cohen, Wilson played a revealing game of “Plead the Fifth.” When asked how much money it would take for her to consider working with Baron Cohen again, Wilson responded unequivocally, stating that she now has a strict policy against working with individuals she deems unpleasant. Despite Cohen’s repeated attempts to entice her with exorbitant sums, Wilson remained resolute in her decision.
In her memoir, Wilson recounts an alleged incident during the filming of The Brothers Grimsby where Baron Cohen purportedly made inappropriate demands, including asking her to perform a highly uncomfortable act. Wilson describes feeling scared and pressured to continue filming, ultimately compromising to navigate the situation.
