Kapoor acknowledged that dating successful actresses like Padukone and Kaif contributed to a certain image. He also recognized how films portraying him as a “lover boy” fueled the “casanova” narrative. The actor admitted to “living with the label of being a cheater for a very large part of my life. I am still living with it.”

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor dated for two years before their 2009 split. Padukone has previously hinted at infidelity during their relationship. Katrina Kaif, whom Kapoor dated for six years, was also once referred to as “bhabhi” (sister-in-law) by his cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan. However, their relationship ended in 2016.

Ranbir Kapoor is currently married to his Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt, with whom he has a daughter, Raha Kapoor.
