Ram Charan to Star in Buchi Babu’s Sports Drama with Shiva Rajkumar
The film, featuring Janhvi Kapoor and music by AR Rahman, will begin shooting post-Dasara and aims for a pan-Indian release
Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is gearing up to start filming his upcoming project, directed by Buchi Babu. This yet-to-be-titled film is a sports drama, with shooting scheduled to commence after the Dasara festival. According to Telugu360 Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar has been cast in a significant role, marking his first full-length appearance in a Telugu film. Known for his cameos, Shiva Rajkumar’s involvement was officially announced on his birthday.
Ram Charan is set to dedicate two months to physical training and transformation before joining the production. Janhvi Kapoor will star opposite him as the leading lady, while acclaimed composer AR Rahman will provide the music score. The project is produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers, and Sukumar Writings, with top director Sukumar overseeing the script. The film is slated for a pan-Indian release next year.
