Rakesh Roshan Reflects on Hrithik and Sussanne’s Amicable Post-Divorce Relationship

In 2014, after 14 years of marriage, Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan decided to part ways. Despite their separation, the two have maintained a close bond, often seen together with their sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. In a recent interview, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik’s father, shared his perspective on their relationship post-divorce.

Rakesh emphasized that, for him, Sussanne continues to be a cherished member of their family. He stated, “Whatever happened was between the couple. For me, Sussanne is still Sussanne. They were in love; they had a misunderstanding—that is for them to resolve. As for us, she came into our house as family, and she still remains a member of the family.”

Hrithik and Sussanne’s commitment to co-parenting is evident. They frequently come together for family lunches and outings, ensuring their children experience a united family environment. Rakesh Roshan highlighted this dedication, noting that Hrehaan and Hridhaan have lunch with the entire family almost every Sunday.

The mutual respect between Hrithik and Sussanne has set a benchmark for amicable separations. Rakesh recounted an instance post-divorce that showcased Hrithik’s character: “Right after their divorce in court, Hrithik stepped out and opened the door of the car for Sussanne. That shows his character. Nobody can teach you these things. It comes from within.”

Both Hrithik and Sussanne have moved forward in their personal lives. Sussanne is currently in a relationship with Arslan Goni, while Hrithik is dating Saba Azad. The two couples have been seen together on multiple occasions, reflecting a modern, blended family dynamic.
