Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan Release Pushed Back
Post-production Delays Stall October Release

Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated action-drama, Vettaiyan, has hit a roadblock. Initially slated for a Dasara release on October 10th, the film has been pushed back due to unforeseen post-production challenges. The decision comes as a disappointment to fans who were eagerly awaiting the film’s release.
Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan promises a powerful blend of action, emotion, and a strong social message. Rajinikanth is set to captivate audiences in the role of a cop, while sharing the screen with a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh, and Lyca Productions is backing the project.
With Vettaiyan’s release now uncertain, the much-awaited clash with Suriya’s Kanguva, also scheduled for October 10th, is now off the cards. The makers of Vettaiyan are currently exploring a Diwali release, which could potentially set the stage for another blockbuster showdown.
As fans eagerly await further updates, the delay in Vettaiyan’s release has undoubtedly left a void in the upcoming festive season’s entertainment lineup.
