Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ Shatters Opening Day Records, Eyes ₹100 crore Milestone

The Rajinikanth movie had a fantastic start on Thursday as the star’s followers enthusiastically welcomed the movie’s release. According to a study on Sacnilk.com, Jailer made over 44.50 crore net in India across all of its languages, with a gross revenue of above 50 crore.

On August 10, Rajinikanth’s Jailer was released amid intense anticipation. According to a report on Sacnilk.com, Jailer made 26.56 crore nett on Friday after earning an amazing 48.35 crore nett in all languages on its first day. This is the first time actor Rajinikanth has worked with director Nelson Dilipkumar. In cameo appearances, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mohanlal are also included.

Currently, in India, Jailer has earned a total of 75.35 crore nett. According to the report, Jailer may earn around $30 million in India on Saturday, breaking the $100 million box office barrier three days after its debut.

After a two-year absence, Rajinikanth makes his big-screen comeback in this film, playing a retired police officer. This month saw the debut of the Jailer Showcase promotional trailer for Rajinikanth’s Jailer.In Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the Rajinikanth movie is considered to have had the greatest opening of 2023. Additionally, it was the highest opening for a Tamil movie in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. Jailer also went on to set this year’s record for the biggest opening day gross for a Tamil movie in India.
