Rajinikanth to Portray Muslim Police Officer in Upcoming Film Vettaiyari, Based on True Events

After a brief hiatus, renowned actor Rajinikanth embarked on a journey to Mumbai today to resume filming for his next venture, “Vettaiyari,” under the direction of TJ Gnanvel. With production nearing its completion, anticipation is high for the movie’s release.
Captured by paparazzi at the airport, Rajinikanth’s return to the film set marks a significant step forward in the project’s timeline. “Vettaiyari” boasts an ensemble cast featuring celebrated figures like the late Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, Telugu star Rana Daggubati, Malayalam luminary Fahadh Faasil, along with Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles.
Backed by Lyca Productions, the film also sees the musical genius of Anirudh Ravichander composing its soundtrack. Reports reveal that Rajinikanth’s character portrayal in “Vettaiyari” will be that of a Muslim police officer, drawing inspiration from real-life events.
In parallel, the anticipation builds for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming project, “Coolie,” featuring Rajinikanth, scheduled to commence filming in June.
