Quentin Tarantino Squashes Hopes for ‘Kill Bill: Volume 3’
Movie buffs went wild over the dialogue, “You and I have unfinished business.” from Quentin Tarantino’s masterpiece, ‘Kill Bill,’ but it seems a further deal of the business is called off.
Lately, a lot of rumors have been flying about the possibility of ‘Kill Bill: Volume 3’ which have gotten the Tarantino fans out there hyped and excited.
But alas, the Academy Award-winning American director shot down all buzzes about him making a sequel of ‘Kill Bill.’
Tarantino fans expected the ‘Pulp Fiction’ director would bring back the ‘Kill Bill’ universe, casting Uma Thurman’s daughter Maya Hawke in the probable sequel.
However, in an interview with DeMorgen, Tarantino confirmed that there’s no third volume to the martial arts movie series and hence no possibility of an on-screen pairing of Thurman and Hawke in the follow-up.
Deadline reported that in the interview, Tarantino said
“I don’t see that. My last film is about a film critic, a male critic. And he plays in the 70s.”
Earlier, Uma Thurman spoke about the prospect of ‘Kill Bill: Vol. 3’. Deadline reported that on ‘The Jess Cagle Show,’ Thurman said,
“I can’t really tell you anything about it. I mean it has been discussed over the years. There was real thought about it happening, but very long ago. I don’t see it as immediately on the horizon.”
However, the fans will be blessed with an upcoming Quentin Tarantino movie, ‘The Movie Critic’ in 2024.
