Production Woes: Ghost of Gandhi Series Faces Uncertainty

Last year, an announcement teaser for the web series “Ghost of Gandhi” featuring Daisy Shah and Sharib Hashmi in pivotal roles was unveiled. Directed by Manish Kishore and starring Atul Shrivastava, Brijendra Kala, and Deepak Kalra, the show was slated for a premiere later this year. However, exclusive sources reveal that filming has been halted for over two to three months.

A month ago, director Manish suffered a heart attack and was placed on a ventilator. While he’s now out of danger and recuperating, his current health condition has delayed production. The lead actress confirmed the setback, stating that the release date has been rescheduled due to the director’s illness.

Additionally, undisclosed reasons have contributed to the production standstill. Sources indicate that the series creators – Sofia Agarwal, Three Arrows Production, and Seeta Films – have distanced themselves from “Ghost of Gandhi.” This decision was made prior to the director’s hospitalization, and the exact cause remains undisclosed. Consequently, the series has been postponed indefinitely.

As Manish Kishore focuses on his recovery, the future of “Ghost of Gandhi” remains uncertain, with both health and production challenges looming over its continuation.
