Mudassar Aziz Confirms Sequel to Hit Romantic Comedy

Pati Patni Aur Woh director Mudassar Aziz has revealed that a sequel to the popular romantic comedy film is in the works. The 2019 film, starring Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday, and Bhumi Pednekar, was a commercial success and a remake of the 1978 film of the same name.

In an interview with Indian Express, Aziz has confirmed that the sequel will take a different approach, focusing on the story from a woman’s perspective. He has stated that he is working on finalizing several aspects of the project and is aiming to provide a fresh and interesting take on the theme of “Man, Woman, and Her.”

While Aziz did not explicitly confirm the return of the original cast, he hinted at their possible involvement, citing the example of his previous film series, Happy Bhag Jayegi. He mentioned that some of the main cast members from the original film reprise their roles in the sequel.
