Paramount+ Unveils First-Look Image and Premiere Date for Supernatural Horror Prequel ‘Pet Sematary: Bloodlines’
Good news for all you horror fans out there! Paramount+ has revealed a first-look image and announced the premiere date for the upcoming American supernatural horror movie ‘Pet Sematary: Bloodlines.’
The movie is based on American writer Stephen King’s 1983 novel ‘Pet Sematary’ who claims it to be his scariest property of all time.
The movie, which is a directorial debut from screenwriter Lindsey Beer, and co-written by Jeff Buhler, is a prequel to ‘Pet Sematary’ (2019) directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer.
The plot of the movie is set in 1969 and is about a young Jud Crandall who desires to leave his hometown until he uncovers the terrible mysteries of what is buried in a cemetery. He encounters a terrible familial heritage that will eternally link him to the area, and he joins forces with his boyhood companions to fight an ancient evil that has afflicted Ludlow since its origin.
The cast of this upcoming movie includes Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Jack Mulhern, Henry Thomas, Natalie Alyn Lind, Isabella Star LaBlanc, Pam Grier, and David Duchovny. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are the producers, and the Paramount+ original movie is in collaboration with Paramount Pictures’ Players Label and is a Di Bonaventura Pictures Production.
‘Pet Sematary: Bloodlines’ is slated to be released on October 6, 2023, in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Brazil, and the subsequent day in further international markets.
