Paramount Unveils Exciting 2024 Film Lineup, Including ‘Smile’ Sequel and ‘Mean Girls’ Musical Release Dates
Paramount is all set to gift its audience for the 2024 Halloween season with the untitled sequel to the American psychological supernatural horror movie ‘Smile.’ The release date has been slated for October 18, 2024.
The studio also has announced the release date for the musical adaptation of the 2004 American teen comedy ‘Mean Girls.’ The musical, starring Angourie Rice, Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, and Reneé Rapp, was initially set to premiere on Paramount+ but now will have a theatrical release on January 12, 2024.
The studio mentioned that the animated ‘Tiger’s Apprentice,’ directed by Raman Hui, was previously planned for theaters but will now premiere on Paramount+.
The movie includes voice actors Henry Golding, Sandra Oh, and Michelle Yeoh in the adaptation of the action-adventure fantasy novel by American author Laurence Yep.
Paramount also postponed the upcoming American biographical drama musical movie directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, ‘Bob Marley: One Love,’ by a month to February 14, 2024. The movie casts Kingsley Ben-Adir as the late iconic Jamaican singer, musician, and songwriter.
