‘No Entry 2’ Set to Roll with Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh in Double Roles
Tamannaah Bhatia Joins the Cast as Filming Begins December 2024; Diwali 2025 Release Planned Amid Casting Shake-Up

After nearly two decades, the beloved 2005 comedy No Entry is getting a sequel. Producer Boney Kapoor has confirmed that No Entry 2 will feature Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh in leading roles, each portraying double characters. Filming is scheduled to commence in December 2024, with a targeted release during Diwali 2025, coinciding with the original film’s 20th anniversary.
According to Peeping Moon , Tamannaah Bhatia has officially joined the cast, marking her return to the comedy genre. Her role is said to be reminiscent of the character played by Bipasha Basu in the original film. Additionally, discussions are underway with Aditi Rao Hydari for another significant female role, though her participation has yet to be confirmed.

Director Anees Bazmee, who helmed the original, returns for the sequel. The storyline will introduce new dynamics and humor, with the three male leads taking on double roles. The production aims to wrap up by June 2025.
The original cast, including Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan, will not reprise their roles. Boney Kapoor cited scheduling conflicts and the need for extensive combination dates as reasons for the new casting. Reports suggest that Anil Kapoor expressed interest in participating but was informed there was no space for him in the sequel, leading to tensions between the Kapoor brothers.
No Entry 2 is a collaboration between Zee Studios and Bayview Projects. With a fresh ensemble and a promise of double the fun, the sequel aims to deliver a contemporary twist to the classic comedy.
