Nicolas Cage’s Upcoming Movie to Open Toronto Film Fest Platform Competition

Nicolas Cage’s upcoming American comedy film, ‘Dream Scenario’ will be opening the Toronto Film Festival’s Platform competition program along with a world premiere.

Written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the cast of the movie will also include Julianne Nicholson, Dylan Baker, Kate Berlant, Michael Cera, Dylan Gelula, and Tim Meadows.

The movie is part of a competitive program of rising as well as experienced directors venturing to Toronto with world premieres.

The plot of the upcoming movie is about an unkempt professor who never made it becomes an overnight star after emerging in everyone’s dream.

Toronto revealed ten features with world premieres for the festival section, where international movies that do not fall under the Hollywood studio circle compete.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that the Toronto Film Festival, which is scheduled from September 7, 2023, to September 17, 2023, will announce an additional lineup in the forthcoming weeks following the announcements of a bunch of Gala and Special Presentations choices last week.
