Netflix Brings Back ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ For Season 3

Netflix has announced the renewal of the American legal drama television series, ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ for a third season.

Created for television by David E. Kelley and developed by Ted Humphrey, based on the books of Michael Connelly, the series’ upcoming season will have ten episodes like the former two seasons.

The plot of the series is set in Los Angeles, where lawyer Mickey Haller, played onscreen by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, works in the rear of his Lincoln Navigator while taking on cases.

Garcia-Rulfo, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Yaya DaCosta, among others, will also be back in their respective roles in the forthcoming season.

However, Neve Campbell will not return for season three of ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’.

Peter Friedlander, vp scripted series, Netflix U.S. and Canada said,

“We’re thrilled to bring back The Lincoln Lawyer for a third season. Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez have taken us deeper into Mickey Haller’s world, building out characters and stories that have connected with our global audience, and we look forward to seeing what they have in store for everyone’s favorite lawyer. The show continues to top our global lists, and it’s a testament to the work from a creative powerhouse team including Michael Connelly, David E. Kelly, Ross Fineman, and our partners at A+E Studios.”

The Hollywood Reporter reported that the next season will be based on the fifth ‘Lincoln Lawyer’ novel, ‘The Gods of Guilt.’ Netflix mentioned that the second season, which was released on July 6, 2023, made it to the streamer’s Top 10 in 81 countries.

Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez are co-showrunners, and Kelley, Humphrey, Connelly, Rodriguez, Ross Fineman, Barry Jossen, and Tana Jamieson serve as executive producers.
