Nagarjuna’s “King100” Set to Reunite Akkineni Trio in Grand 100th Film Milestone

After their emotional reunion in Manam, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Akhil are rumoured to share screen time again—with both sons possibly in cameo roles—under director Ra Karthik in Nagarjuna’s action-family epic King100.

Nagarjuna Akkineni is preparing to mark a historic milestone in his career with his 100th film, and speculation around the project has already sent fans into a frenzy. Titled King100, the film will be directed by Tamil filmmaker Ra Karthik and promises to be a rustic action entertainer with strong family elements. Adding to the excitement are reports that Nagarjuna’s sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil, might join him on screen in cameo roles. If confirmed, this would reunite the Akkineni trio after more than a decade, their last memorable collaboration being in the cult classic Manam (2014), which also served as a farewell for the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao.

Currently hosting Bigg Boss Telugu 9, Nagarjuna will return to full-fledged shooting duties for King100 soon, after having appeared in supporting roles in recent films like Kuberaa and Coolie. While he impressed audiences with his screen presence in those projects, this milestone movie marks his return as the central protagonist, a role he has promised will deliver both entertainment and emotion. Pre-production has been underway for months, and with mounting buzz around the possibility of Chaitanya and Akhil sharing screen space with their father, expectations for King100 are sky-high among Akkineni fans.
