Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film, Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, marks a significant milestone in his career as his most ambitious and high-budget project to date. Inspired by real-life events from 2018, the movie delves into the story of a fisherman from Srikakulam who faces unexpected cross-border challenges, blending themes of patriotism, survival, and human resilience. Co-starring Sai Pallavi, Thandel promises a unique mix of romance and intense drama, enhanced by its breathtaking visuals and emotional depth.

With a staggering budget exceeding ₹110 crores, including ₹30 crores allocated for VFX, the film sets a new benchmark for regional cinema. Scheduled for release on February 7, 2025, ahead of Valentine’s Day, Thandel aims to captivate audiences across multiple languages. The first song, “Bujji Thalli,” composed by Devi Sri Prasad, will release on November 21, adding to the anticipation. The production, backed by GA2 Pictures, reflects a dedication to storytelling, offering a compelling cinematic experience for audiences nationwide.
