Mukesh Chhabra Hails Ranbir Kapoor as India’s Top Star

Ranbir Kapoor has delivered numerous unforgettable performances throughout his career, adeptly portraying millennial experiences in films ranging from *Saawariya* to *Animal*. His exceptional acting prowess has garnered him a vast fanbase across the country. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra recently lauded Kapoor’s stardom, calling him the “number 1” star in India.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Chhabra elaborated on Kapoor’s immense appeal. He noted that despite the surge of celebrities connecting with fans via social media platforms like Instagram, Ranbir stands out for maintaining a private presence. He doesn’t have a public Instagram page, which adds to his allure.

“The charm of Ranbir Kapoor is such that people eagerly wait for his films. They go crazy and are desperate to see him on the big screen. In that regard, he is the number one,” Chhabra stated.

While Kapoor may not engage with the public on social media, he does have a private Instagram account known only to his close family.

On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor is set to star in Nitesh Tiwari’s *Ramayana*, alongside Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, and Lara Dutta. Additionally, he will reunite with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for *Love & War*, a romantic thriller featuring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Kapoor will also reprise his role as Ranvijay in the sequel *Animal Park*, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
